Does this work on Mac and Windows? +
Yes — both platforms are fully supported. You download the installer for your system after subscribing. Mac users get a .dmg file, Windows users get a .exe installer.
Do I need to be a basketball coach? +
Not at all. The suite works for any sport, any level — basketball, football, soccer, whatever you coach or train. If you need to break down film, annotate plays, and share breakdowns with players or an audience, this is built for you.
What happens if I cancel? +
You keep access until the end of your current billing period. After that, the app will show a 3-day grace period before locking. You can resubscribe anytime and your account is restored immediately.
Will my recordings lag on long videos? +
No — because this is a desktop app, everything runs on your computer locally. No server, no streaming, no lag. A 2-hour game film runs just as smoothly as a 5-minute clip.
What video formats does it support? +
The Film Room and Film Clipper support MP4, MOV, and WebM. Format Studio works with the same formats. Output is always exported as MP4 — clean and ready to upload anywhere.
Is there a free trial? +

Does my film stay private? +
Yes — completely. Watch & Learn Film Studio runs entirely on your computer. Your film, your recordings, and your breakdowns never leave your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server. No cloud storage, no third-party access. Your footage is yours and only yours.
What computer do I need? +
The app works on any Windows 10 or 11 computer, and any Mac from the last 5 years running macOS 11 or newer. No special hardware required — if your computer can run a web browser and play video, it can run Film Studio. For best performance when recording, 8GB of RAM is recommended.
